How It All Started
My journey into design wasn't exactly planned. About 6 years ago, I needed dental work but couldn't afford it. So I did what any resourceful person would do—I offered to design a website for the clinic in exchange for treatment. The result? An absolute disaster of a site that I cringe thinking about now. But that terrible first project taught me more about design, user experience, and web development than any course could have.
That one desperate decision sparked a genuine passion. I threw myself into learning design, working with hundreds of products and service providers across East Africa. I wore many hats along the way—social media manager, sales rep, telemarketer—and each role taught me something invaluable about people, markets, and what actually drives business growth.
Today, I'm a design enthusiast with a marketing brain. I don't just create beautiful websites; I build digital experiences that convert and genuinely help businesses thrive. My background gives me an unfair advantage—I understand both the art of design and the science of what makes people act.
Outside of work, you'll find me networking with interesting people, exploring Kenya's beautiful trails while hiking and backpacking, or dreaming up the next adventure. Life's too short not to live it fully.
